Since this March, 34 students from eleven local high schools have been working on projects to improve their communities and the world. Everything from a documentary to inspire girls of color, to providing hospital patients creative outlets while they are under care. These students are making their mark on the world while they’re still in high school.
On May 21st, they’re going to showcase their ideas to the Dual School community. We’re expecting nearly 100 educators, parents, siblings, mentors, business leaders and members of local government to show up and support student innovation.
The event will be from 5:00pm-8:00pm at 1313 Innovation on 1313 North Market Street in Wilmington, Delaware. For highlights from our last exhibition, check out our Facebook album.
You won’t want to miss the energy and action that surrounds one of the most special nights of the year.
What is Dual School?
Dual School empowers high school students to take action on projects that transform what’s possible in their community and the world. Our programs deliver critical 21st century skills in design thinking, initiative, creativity, communication and self-awareness as students work to bring their solutions to life.
